Minnesota is mourning the loss of Sergeant First Class Nicole M. Amor of White Bear Lake who was killed in Kuwait on Sunday.
She answered the call to serve and gave her life in service to our state and nation. Minnesotans are wrapping our arms around her loved ones.

Unfortunately, we never did get the chance to work together. He died from lymphoma in 2023. The night he called me is one of the most treasured memories I have of my producing career to date. He really did seem like a great guy.

Thought to myself, "Yeah, like he has time to contact someone like me." Out of the blue one evening, he did call me. I was at home, making pasta for dinner. I couldn't believe it! He called! We had a very nice chat and he said he would be interested in working with us should the opportunity arise.
Looking through old contacts and came across Robert Dalva. I remember reaching out to him in my second year #producing for GB Films. We had just moved our office from #32Ten Studios in San Rafael to downtown Petaluma, CA. I felt really shy about leaving a message for an Oscar-nominated #legend.
