I love meetings like that! We’re not robots and meetings are a great opportunity to also have great conversations and build connections, not just dealing with the job at hand

I worked with accountants a lot so I don’t mind their understated style, but mostly I guess I’ve also come to prefer boring professionals to the Boris Johnson-style presentation. Bank governors can make decent technocratic PMs though when that’s needed
