The #UglyDogs started as a musher fandom that was birthed on twitter with the same hashtag. It began when a troll replied to
@blairbraverman.bsky.social with the phrase "go back to your ugly dogs karen" and we all kinda ran with it.
We became known for doing good under stress. :)
and, obviously, Blair's huskies are beautiful, so the fans decided "ugly dogs" must have been referring to the human fans who would always be there for her to go back to. #uglydogs
