"Unquestionably blindly following the Americans is, in my view, the wrong thing to do.. I'd pass legislation that said military action could be taken if.. the lawful case for it was made.. there was a viable objective &.. you got consent of the commons"

When's the vote, Keir?

Nigel Farage's Long History of Crying β€˜Fraud’ Whenever His Party Loses Elections The Reform UK leader has a long record of blaming his own party's election defeats on "cheating" by ethnic minorities, yet no evidence of it can ever be found

Every time Nigel Farage's parties have lost an election he has blamed it on "cheating" by ethnic minorities and every time he receives huge amounts of media attention for doing so.

The only problem? No evidence of cheating is ever found

The UK's permission for the US to use its bases in attacking Iran amounts to complicity in the crime of aggression. It drags us into what could be an endless war, without democratic or even parliamentary consent.

Near-blind Rohingya refugee dies after US agents left him far from home Nurul Amin Shah Alam, 56, was a nearly blind Rohingya refugee from Rakhine state in Myanmar, family members said.

Trump’s Gestapo gave killed again.
β€œA vulnerable man – nearly blind and unable to speak English – was left alone on a cold winter night β€Œwith no known attempt to leave him in a safe, secure location,”

Nigel Farage: The same man who built his career demonising refugees is cheerleading an illegal war that would create millions more.

Just another lapdog for US imperialism.

No one wants to be involved in yet another war.
The political class cannot keep on forcing war on us when their popularity scores plummet. Thatcher, Starmer, Trump they are all the same. We should be demanding a General Election.

Really concerned to hear the Defence Secretary refuse to rule out UK's involvement in future strikes on Iran.

Iraq lessons must be learned.
Further escalation in the Middle East makes us all less safe.

Starmer must rule out UK involvement immediately.

STUC have a great paper on tax reform within the Scottish powers if this is a genuine question

First of all even if that were the case they can support and finance local projects such as community owned grids, there's ways to circumvent that. Second they dropped that pledged and then they pledged to form a β€œnew dedicated national public energy agency” by 2025 which also didn't happen.

Pal please don't do this I'm trying to have an honest conversation

26.02.2026 15:53 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I think a problem on the left is that we don't listen to each other. YP Scotland passed a pro- indy resolution at their founding conference, they would be part of a pro indy bloc if they got elected to Parliament.

26.02.2026 15:44 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I’m asking you that question. How is the SNP solving it? I’m not saying YP can solve it , but I’m saying we need to works towards improving people’s lives in the meantime and stopping Reform. And before any Greens come scream at me I’ve always been vocal about cooperation on the left.

26.02.2026 15:38 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I think it’s also the way of doing politics. The budget was developed by the councillors working with regular members that formed a working group. It consisted of people with all sorts of backgrounds: social workers, lecturers, migrants. I’ve never seen anyone do politics like this before.

26.02.2026 15:32 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

We need to improve the material conditions of folk in Scotland in the meantime - I’m pro Indy myself but it’s not a magical panacea that will fix everything and in the meantime folk can’t afford to have the heating on

26.02.2026 15:25 πŸ‘ 3 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Do you think the SNP does have a chance of getting us Indy? I’m asking you honestly cause they’ve been trying for a while and we are not getting anywhere ….

I just want to say I was one of the people that spoke in favour of the Scottish party being an independent party and it passed 😊

Reform would create ICE-style agency and end leave to remain, Zia Yusuf to say Nigel Farage’s party plans to deport up to 288,000 people a year on five flights a day and expand stop and search

If you want concentration camps in the UK, people being grabbed off the streets, or murdered on them, five year olds being separated from their parents and locked up #VoteReform

I think both things can be true at once: he is unable to control it AND it made the presenters extremely uncomfortable. He left right after so I'm assuming that when he is nervous it's harder to control the tics. I am not sure what else he could have done tbh.

FBI Interviewed Trump Accuser, Epstein Files Show Trump was credibly accused of sexual assault in the Epstein files. It's unclear what became of the DOJ's investigation.

This is a bombshell: One of Epstein's victims accused Trump of sexually and violently assaulting her when she was "13 to 15" and the FBI deemed her credible enough to warrant an interview.
