Durbin to Bhattacharya: "I can't understand it. I disagree w/ this admin on so many things. But this is the one that really gets to me personally. To think this nation would walk away from medical research. For God's sake...cancer, your budget requests a 38% cut to the National Cancer Institute"

Wow. Falcon Heights charging $25 a day for parking during the MN State Fair is straight-up greed. Itβs not a fair, itβs a cash grab.

Max or HBO Max or whatever. Iβll always call it Daytonβs.
Cutting things like libraries and children's museums? What about investing in our future???
Thank you!
I cannot emphasize what a vital resource the Children's Museum is for parents year-round, but especially in the depths of winter when your kid is stir-crazy and needs somewhere they can just go nuts
The Minnesota House is proposing a $500K cut to Minnesota Childrenβs Museumβputting future exhibits, programs & playful learning at risk. Urge your reps to restore this vital funding! #mnleg

Turns out doing taxes is way less fun when you end up owing money instead of getting a refund.
Finally made it to #1GameDay in St. Paul. So cozy for a sports bar! Can't wait to go back and try the food!!

Weβre not far away from the moment when a prominent White conservative says the βnβ word in public, and then refuses to apologize and is actually celebrated in right-wing media and defended by Republican politicians.

I was surprised to see that space turn into a rental space. I wish it had stayed a brewery. Doesn't seem to be getting much use.
Could really use a trip up to the North Shore!
So relieved to hear the former St. Paul Black Sheep spot will be hosting another restaurant soon! Prince Coal Fired Pizza!!
Yes! So sad Dark Horse is closing!
More good news out of Downtown St. Paul! I've heard Mexa Cosina + Bar will be moving in to the old Barrio space.
Man, what Target has done to Minnesota morale this week.
Minnesota has a projected surplus this year. Which means ANY cuts we have to make -- any deficit we have this year -- are the DIRECT result of Trump, Republicans and their billionaire tech oligarchs. Because here's the thing about the federal government: a LOT of what they do is partner with states.
Let's be crystal clear: Trump enacted a federal government shutdown. School meals, healthcare, Head Start, SNAP, WIC, housing, roads, bridges, broadband, financial aid for college students, cancer research funding, public health and a lot more.
