Trying an experiment with the paint job. Got a brass camo stencil, used to create some variation on the ship, then blended it together a bit. So far feels the right direction.

Yea, I noticed the kerning issues almost immediately. It's still a great piece, but I agree these come off as mistakes and for the price point it's a little disappointing.

This has been one of those on and off models that started about 2 years ago. Almost done finally. Need to attach the guns, add a few more decals and then it's finished.

Did a side build. 1/700 Russian Typhoon. The decals on this thing are not great. Definitely panic inducing.

This little guy never got much love after TNG. I think it weirdly appeared in Voyager once.

Wrapped up the #Klingon #BirdOfPrey. This was a fun build. The landing gear was tricky, but overall I'm incredibly pleased with the result.

All that's left is to glue in the landing gear and ramp and some detail work. So close to finishing!

How was the experience with the decals? My experience has been very hit or miss depending on the vendor Round2 goes with. It looks amazing so hoping it was a positive experience :D

Gloss coat on the #klingon #birdofprey. Next is decals and weathering. Particularly happy with the engines though this part is horrendously inaccurate.
