I meet my friends at 11am coffee or, at the latest, lunch at noon. On the weekends we go crazy, we visit each other at home and play board games that are not too complicated for our collective assemblage of children.

I think I said "as a former gifted child" too many times, though /j
Ah, classic. That's why I took the appointment remotely with multiple alarms, notes on my tablet (which I compiled in a dash last night) beside me - and yet, I rambled for an hour and I still feel I haven't actually made myself clear. But at least the first step is behind me! π
Two months after being told to do a thing, I managed to make a phone call, and I am now staring at the first ADHD assessment meeting in less than an hour. Do you think "took me two months to make a phone call" counts as an argument for the diagnosis?
Kinda dizzy and nauseous. I guess inside me are two Poles, one is Pole dancing, the other Pole vaulting.
Bit sick. Started playing Alan Wake. I do enjoy that the game's authors are also contestants in the "piling up as many metaphors and puns as possible in every possible sentence" competition.
In Finland Valentine's Day is celebrated as a day of friendship. Happy Friend's Day, everyone!
Thank you for the books! I love your writing so much π
I finally arrived at "Weave the Liminal" by @ltzwitch.bsky.social and I am profoundly enjoying this unceremonious (as opposed to ceremonial) magic. I've been following her work for a while, and I see I'll have to complete my book collection with everything Tempest has published β¨π π
A photo of a pair of matte black heeled boots, laced up high and on a chunky 8 cm heel.
An upcoming lunar new year party has finally given me an excuse to buy a pair of high-heeled witchy boots (yes, I needed an excuse), and they make me as happy as my first-ever pair of combat boots did back in middle school.
They are very pretty. Comfortableness to be decided
Starting in March, we've hosting our very own #podcast called Tabletop Touchstones. We'll be interviewing indie #ttrpg creators we respect to uncover the media influencing their current work and exploring the childhood passions that led them to RPGs.

Ah. In primary school, my art teacher said my drawings are derivative and lack creativity, because I was drawing dinosaur people based on scientific illustrations from my kids' nature encyclopedia books. Joke's on him, I now do sci-art for a living.
I have spent endless childhood road trips imagining Goku flying next to the car on his yellow cloud and doing cool tricks. Dragon Ball is still awesome.
Good luck in the contest! Your space art deserves all accolades π
The older I get, the more I realize that my 12yo self had life figured out. Books, drawing, & fiber crafts from knitting to embroidery ARE a recipe for daily joy among the loudness and chaos of the world outside.
A photo of an unfinished cross stitch embroidery of two black Crows surrounded by arabesque and floral patterns in black, gold, and orange.
A bird project update! (Not THE bird project update, but we're making progress on that one too.)
This will eventually become an insert in a medieval-style shirt I'm sewing, as soon as I manage to climb a mountain of making a single phone call to fix my sewing machine (so far 3 months and counting).
The cover of Blades in the Dark next to the cover of Blades '68
In celebration of the imminent Blades β68 campaign, I thought Iβd talk a bit about its graphic design.
BUT FIRST letβs compare and contrast with the graphic design of Blades in the Dark, a landmark in the history of RPG layout.
Type nerdery ahoy π§
The meme stocks, crypto and similar garbage is pure speculation, and I hope it goes down as NFTs did.
I enjoy regular investments being more accessible, though. I wish it was like that when I was back in Poland in my early 20s. It's still refreshingly boring to cost-average index funds :3
Although the sun is currently only a decoration, we celebrate the return of the light. With π¦ birds, of course! www.patreon.com/posts/return...
As someone who occasionally struggles to speak in emotional moments, I too am partial to putting my thoughts in order via writing. I'm scripting the conversation in my head anyway, why not just write it down? π
Researching for the new book is a never-ending source of cheap chuckles. Looking up herons I expected to see a pantheon of long-necked leg boys... I guess this one just came out of the pool.
No, they go for an pre-wedding trip, find a corpse on the beach, and get heavily involved in a supernatural murder investigation, with mannequins, kidnappings, and a fey invasion. My writing skills were never good enough to write songs; murder mysteries are easier.
Years ago, I wrote a story where one MC proposed to the other by sliding her a note while they were both reading in the library. A commenter told me they didn't expect 'an autistic romance novel that early in the morning.'
Now, Jakub accepted a calendar invite to our wedding, so I think it's on.
A watercolor & ink illustrations showing four different crow species and a brown-spotted crow egg.
Timelines are being set, bird omens are being written... We will have some fun bird book announcements soon π¦ββ¬ #ZoologistsPrimer
Ok, I understand nature is crazy, but these are literally just critters. Prove me wrong.
...Oh, Windows.
Thank you, major crisis averted.
Spent today dealing with broken InDesign -- turns out it's Windows' fault (of course). In case you're having the same troubles:, uninstall the update:
"Windows 11 update KB5074109 (January 2026), is causing major InDesign issues, leading to file corruption, save failures, and errors." (via Reddit)
So apparently one of my absolute β¨favoriteβ¨ bird illustrators is on Bluesky, and I have another reason to watch people draw birds while I draw birds and complain how much easier it was to draw plants.
I'm back streaming at twitch.tv/gnome_anne and we're doing a lil hopecore story time -- gather round, as I read you How To Do Nothing by Jenny Odell, and try to indoctrinate you into rest as resistance in place
