It's all official and everything. I'm running for TAFF. It's exciting and nervewracking at the same time as I step out of my quiet shadow and in front of all fandom. If you're eligible, please vote. If not, I'll take all the luck I can get. :)
It's a fund that science fiction fandom has been doing for decades. One year it sends somebody from Europe to North America for a con, and the next year, it goes the other way. The con this year is the Berlin Eurocon, and I'm running to be the receipient of the fund. It's a really cool tradition.
This year is the year I've decided to try to step out of my comfort zone more often, and nowhere was that more than throwing my hat in the ring to be the #TAFF delegate. It's all done and dusted and the voting starts soon... we'll see what happens from there.
