At one time or another we all are affected (robbed) by the grim reaper. None of us are strangers to pain and sorrow. Our world becomes a little smaller with the death of someone we love. My heart goes out to you.

When I found Bluesky social media, I did not intend to concentrate on politics per se. My idea was to promote my books and connect with other writers. Currently, I have 13 books published and available to the public.

I agree. The Heritage Foundation is largely behind the demise of our democracy. They've been planting the seeds of our destruction for years, and there's no dirty trick they will overlook.

Republicans love to call themselves the party of law, but reality suggests otherwise. Truth is they expect Democrats to obey the law while Republicans are exempt.

The constant battle of good versus evil has been going on forever and will never end until all life is extinguished. Everyone chooses their side. Rules are established which some obey, and some circumvent. In our case, generally, one party, the Democrats play by the rules, but Republicans do not.

Speaking for myself, I voted against the dumbass three times.

Big money has convinced the churches that the Republican party is pro-life and that the Democratic party wants more abortions. The fact is that there are always fewer abortions when we are under a Democratic administration. People love to be on a bandwagon and away they go.

It's the big money donors that made it possible. Billionaires don't want to pay taxes, so they buy legislators who will direct more money to their bank accounts.

I'm not alone when I say I'm sorry for the evil that has hijacked our government. I'm also sure that it only happened because the billionaires paid lots of money to find ways to cheat.

It's true. Some people don't want to give up their racism and crooked ways. Those people will always be there, sometimes hiding in the shadows waiting to strike, or waiting for some loud-mouth leader like trump to tell them that it's okay to hate your neighbor.

I understand that feeling that once you've been shit on, it's hard to trust that it won't happen again. But I still think we outnumber the backstabbers, and I hope the baby doesn't get thrown away with the dirty wash water.

Don't write us off. there are more of us who despise trump than support him. While we have an undercurrent of racism and hate which gives the hate monger trump his power, we out number them and they have to cheat to win. I believe we will overcome them and take back the reins of power.
