A balding writer carrying booze and carrier bag with car and pretty woman in tow.
I always find it funny in Tarkovskyβs Stalker that the writer rocks up in a fancy car with an attractive younger woman in tow.
That his carrier bag might contain the unpublished βmasterpieceβ heβs spent years shopping round literary agents with no interest seems far more realistic.
Do treat yourself.
