Als like its such a silly throwaway line in Neuromancer but I can’t stop thinking about the bit where Case and Molly are talking about McCoy Pauley aka The Dixie Flatline and Case is like “Flatlined on his EEG. Showed me tapes. ‘Boy, I was daid.’”

The part of the book where she recounts the basic plot of Johnny Mnemonic back to Case is really cool bc it give a new perspective to compare to Johnny’s cool guy dipshit commentary delivering some incredibly iconic lines.
