It’s so much better…and my French is average at best!

Good stuff Lori, would love to see both Fowler and Reinbacher given a shot and these back to backs this week are an excellent chance to rotate them in.

Big time. That’s a huge win

Agreed. “Eagles had hits like teenagers have zits - everywhere an all the time”. Not my quote but can’t remember where I saw it. They were so big when I was a kid I have lots of music snob friends who disparage them, but I’m with you.

Rainy Saturday spinning Jerry Garcia’s 1972 solo debut album. It’s Jerry through and through. Great album, great vinyl auction score! #nowspinning #vinylsky

I have no doubt that Sam was rewarded handsomely for being an internet famous hyper-local weather dog; I’ll miss her Devon morning updates. Good girl Sam, good girl. Condolences Vanessa.

Charlie maybe ‘steady’ but still firmly a number two goalie. I think Dobes could be that but don’t think it’s likely he turns into a number 1. I hope I’m wrong

Ha! That would be something!

What sorcery is this!?! I feel like a new, much cooler, person.

I have no clue what you are even talking about. Tap, tap, taperoo…

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I’d be interested to know how our share of the overall medals compares to the total available medals. Assuming there are many(?) more medals now as more events/disciplines added.

Based purely on his hairline, he’ll be back in 4 years.

That one will sting for a while. Dominated in regulation but missed too many opportunities. Made one too many mistakes in OT when there is no room for error. Sid just said it…that’s hockey. Chins up boys.

Agreed, dominated the game, didn’t cash in on multiple golden opportunities, and made mistakes in OT when there is no room for error.

Fine and fair. Best hockey you’ve watched today?

Considering context, I’m with you. Steve is just being particularly negative this morning.

Same here…eerily quiet

Way too invested in this. The 02 and 10 wins are ‘where were you when’ moments (CW clubhouse in Victoria and the Coldwater Hotel in Merritt, BC respectively). 2014 we were so good it was boring lol. I don’t think this one will be boring but looking forward to watching home with the fam. #gocanadago

Since the criteria are vague and doesn’t specify celebrated, famous or just noteworthy, I’m replacing K.C. with Willie O’Ree. Agree with the rest of the list though. KC can have his spot in the Business version.

As a Canadian, I have a different suggestion for where you can put it…congrats though, glad we made it a memorable game.

I’ll say it again, Mitch Marner…always liked that guy!!! #gocanadago

Sunday Spinning Sturgill Simpson’s Sound & Fury. Released in 2019 it was a huge departure from his country roots. It is a great album though and makes me excited for his recently announced next release under the pseudonym Johnny Blue Skies. He describes it as a dance album 😂 #nowspinning

Thanks to the loser point in the NHL keeping everyone in the hunt, tanking is a bigger problem in the NBA.

Shhhh…as a Canadiens/Canada fan, I don’t want to see Lane in Milan!

And there’s the makeup call…

I don’t think the Globe is owned by Americans. The Post (Postmedia) certainly is but the Globe is still owned by the Thomson family. Very rich but not American.

Not quite, but close. After he retired he moved home (my hometown) and was player/coach for the local senior team. He’s no longer playing but continues to coach at various levels and is an absolute beauty.
