Outlaw Star is one of those shows where I've always wanted to know WAY more about the universe its set in than they tell us. There's obviously a ton of lore out there, and they didn't have time to delve into it!

I love this movie a lot. My 16th birthday present was a pair of movie posters for it, framed, and a Press kid from the original release. The sound track is fantastic, and also a time capsule of how it felt to be a teenage girl in that era.

I found someone that has made a launcher skin for Android that's Okudagrams. I installed it to play with and have found that I genuinely like it better.

I would love to see a modern remaster of Loom, it was such a good game

My partner works on Fantasmic at Disney World, and that scene of Chernabog is part of the video. The tech crew has a bunch of standard responses/lines to the show (a la Rocky Horror), and the one for that bit is "Look at my naaaaaaiiiiiillllls"

One of the things I'm very grateful for about my parents is that they both made things as hobbies (fiber crafts and woodworking, primarily), so I grew up with an intrinsic awareness that *people* make things.

The concept of a hall pass list has always seemed kinda weird and creepy. The closest I've gotten is "I would love to work with/get a drink with <person>, they seem nifty" (but I've also been backstage in live entertainment for 20+ years)

There is still a museum of that name in NYC, I don't know if they were related (but the NYC one is fantastic!)

And that's always what it feels like I get out of Spotify, whereas Pandora (with a little bit of curation on a prompt) will pretty consistently give me new things in a a genre I like

I also like Pandora (which I've been using for a similarly long time), which I like better than Spotify. I don't really want to curate an entire playlist, I like giving it some direction and letting it go. Spotify feels like it always ends up back in the same place, rather than leaning into a niche.

I've driven from SoCal to Florida twice. Texas is literally a full third of that drive. It's absurd.

I was very happy when I was in LA a couple weeks ago to see that McCabe's is still alive and well - I took guitar lessons there many years ago, and they're such a fantastic resource.
