I wish we'd gotten more movies from this universe. I really enjoyed the first two. It had potential.

I humbly submit X-Mex Origins: Wolverine in the Yellowknife theatre when it started off in the NWT. It is the only time I've seen people yell at a movie, and loudly! It was deafening.
Sam is such an excellent writer.
Oh yes, this is absolutely the format that'll draw me back in. 🙄
I read a headline that said Green Day avoided any political messaging in their performance. Paying people that comprehend things to write must be extremely hard.
Love them, INDK and Choking Victim. Feel like they are not widely known though.
It goes one of two ways. You get a 5 second thank you or a 45 minute deep cut.
I keep getting them too. I've hardly heard of him and have zero plans to register as an NDP. Also, the party is nearly non-existent in NB right now. Something something, not ideal campaign spending management.
The only thing I miss are the handful of reporters and writers that don't have accounts here.
Worthy of a good long form imho.
I might have to rewatch it tomorrow, now.
I read Martyr! after you posted about last year. Thanks for doing your favs list.
I love how I can hear the song in my head just by reading the title.
I love that The Pitt is doing 16 episodes, one a week, at 9pm and season three 8 months later. None of this 8-ep seasons, 18 months between seasons, dropping all the episodes at once nonsense.
The cover of my book, titled No Sleep 'Til Fairbanks (subtitle: Stories from Alaska and the Canadian North), with a foreword by Brian Phillips. The cover image is a glowing white tent surrounded by jagged mountains at dusk.

Just put on The Sound of Music for my mom, and in the opening credits they tell you the model of camera the cinematographer used.
I wish I had seen this sooner! My daughter would absolutely love this. Birthday is tomorrow, so may have to wait on this a bit.
This is the perfect amount of content that I want to read about the whole thing.
Counterpoint, we are not running out of good ideas. Stop giving slop the spotlight.
Last time I called CAA for a boost, they used a similar device. The guy said they're easier than cables, no need to get the truck close to the car, and they can get two boosts out of one charge.

My older kids loved watching her when she broke out. This is such a sad turn of slowly unfolding events.
If you've ever had the chance to talk with Nathan White at Swimming Canada, he's a real one.
Want.
I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I watched this a half dozen times when I was younger. Limited English movies on VHS = a lot of rewatching.
Sign me up, haha.
Four years ago my sister, her best friend and I planned a secret weekend in Halifax, to relive our youth, I think. So many places we loved were long gone, but it's still a great city. And the Great Wall is (was) still there!
What a cool thong to do!
I wish he had stayed in Toronto, but love seeing him doing great on the Pacers.
