/ooc #EliteDangerous has gorgeous sound design, particularly for fleet carrier jumps. The creaking, the klaxons, the rattling and banging. Very immersive. Which is then somewhat spoiled by the sound effects abruptly cutting out when the jump finishes. Can’t it fade out, at least?
I’d take the carrier, but to be honest it’s not a huge amount of money really. I know some people are planning the trip so the kid is going to get their present from someone. Gotta keep my overheads down. :)
