I find it so annoying when influencers are invited to Number 10 and post gushingly about meeting politicians. Purely an ego exercise. Why do you think the politicians want you there? They’re trying to exploit your popularity - that’s it.
How many pay increases have MPs had since 2010 now? 12? 13? Meanwhile this Labour government quibbles paying resident doctors properly, who are saving lives around the clock in hospitals that they refuse to resource properly.
It’s grotesque.
