Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

“Anger management” does nothing to change the beliefs of entitlement that drive abusers to harm others. The idea that it could exposes a very common fallacy.
Abusers don’t suddenly “lose control” and become violent. It’s controlled, and always targeted at someone in a position of relative weakness.

Abusers use shame, fear, lies, intimidation, reputational harm, and violence to isolate and entrap victims.
When we uncritically accept the abuser’s definition of “victim” as “pathetic and shameful,” we become accessories to the abuser’s coercive control.
Rejecting that framing empowers victims.
Abusers, however, choose to repeatedly harm others and rationalize the decision. It is pathetic, morally and ethically bankrupt behavior that earns all the shame and disgust it carries.
Abusers don’t like feeling shame, so they project it back onto their victims by redefining “victim” as shameful.
To respect victims of abuse- those who survive and those who don’t, we must reject the abuser’s definition of “victim” to mean weak or pathetic.
Victims don’t choose to be targeted and they’re not to blame for their abuse. Therefore they have nothing to be ashamed of.
Not all victims of abuse survive.
When we avoid using the accurate term “victim” in favor of “survivor” it falsely implies:
- “Survivors” were not victimized [and therefore the abuser carries no blame]
- Only “victims” don’t survive [because of some personal flaw]
- One can’t be both
Victim isn’t a dirty or shameful word. It describes being targeted by an abuser.
Abusers convince victims the word “victim” means “pathetic,” in order to shame and silence them. But it’s not shameful or pathetic to be a target of abuse.
It’s shameful to be an abuser. Return shame where it belongs.

Let them know that the Heritage Foundation found only 99 cases of non-citizen voting since 1982. The Act is based on an outright lie. It's not about preventing undocumented immigrants from voting. The sole purpose is to make it more difficult for citizens (mostly women) to vote.

Henry Cuellar received a Trump pardon.
He was the lone Dem vote in the House today that passed the “Save America act,” making it much harder for women to vote by requiring passports, birth certificates and official name change documents.
He’s been indicted for taking foreign bribes. Vote him out.
