Gail Smith made this tribute to the historic “blue and white” appliqué in 2012. Thousands of hours went into this quilt, which was completed in 2014 - She was a great lady. Rest in peace, Gail H. Smith.

Meta now allows women to be called ‘property’ and LGBTQ+ folks labeled ‘mentally ill.’ Watching people justify staying on Meta —‘It’s just where everyone is!’—is wild. At what point do convenience and connection outweigh complicity in a system harming the most vulnerable? Asking for humanity.
