14yo has plowed through #threebodyproblem and convinced me to try the TV series. It's amazing and I'll definitely be reading the books, too. Love watching 14yo analyze the differences and why both versions work. #sciencefictioncommunity
My 16yo bought a tub of candy orange slices and told me not to eat any while he is in class.
CRUEL
After all I have done for him!!!
@tkingfisher.com 's House With Good Bones is already so good. I'm only a few minutes into the audiobook β€οΈ Southern gothic #horror ftw #horrorcommunity
Finished my goals for 2025. So what if it's February 2026? π

A wooden fence with a white tarp backdrop and a straw archery target on a stand in front of it. Me on the left, drawing a longbow. Itβs a gray day, with winter-bare trees in the background.
Me, when we were doing archery practice earlier this month. The weather is going to be too bad this weekend to do more, though I would really love to shove sharp pointed sticks into something.
Only two scenes left for this editing pass of my SF novellette. Mom math means driving 2 hrs to a kid's class to get 1 hr of editing time, but hey, at least we can listen to audiobooks on the drive. #amediting #amwriting #writingcommunity
My 11yo just discovered Animorphs in audio and boy am I here for it. We are on book 3 and it is INTENSE #animorphs #audiobooks
The journey from hobby to expert can be subtle, but then one day you have opinions. I'm sure this applies to #writing but I'm talking about my rabbits. Some people out here weaning too early and selling weak ears on breeds that are supposed to be straight eared. #rabbitry
My teens are over here talking about full metal alchemist: brotherhood and I'm all π€ #fma Yes, we are past Nina ha ha
#wingspan is always so satisfying! Collect! Collect eggs and birds! My only quibble is I want to fill the board...

I primarily read romance, fantasy, and historical fiction, but right now I'm reading _Leviathan Wakes_ and the book I most recently finished was _He, She, and It_ by Marge Piercy, which is mostly scifi, so whatever.
I write romance with a side of fantasy, almost always. #PretendPanel
I tried to read that last year but it was too epic for my current stage in life π
Cover of a book: Tales of Timeless Romance: A Dragonblade Anthology, with seven author names. "Stephanie Cranford" is circled and an arrow points to it, saying, "OH MY GOD IT'S ME." Other arrows point to it, saying, "Novella: 'A Gift of Honor,'" "Set in the Lake District, 1818," and "Sporty Lesbian x crafty lesbian."
Got bored, made one of *those* graphics. Link: a.co/d/9SVJyFD #queerwriters #historicalromance #wlwromance
Show us a photo tomorrow!
Epic #fantasy and SF solidified my love for writing, but I prefer to write shorter and to steer clear of hard SF. I love urban fantasy but tend to write darker, with fewer side quests, while keeping the happy endings. Very picky about horror and do write #sff #horror
