Just putting this out there as a 'formal declaration of intent'. So, looking for people cheering on from the sidelines :)

I do have some 'before' photos - if I pull this off, I'll share before/after photos at the end of all this. And, I'm not looking for hints or tips on this - I'm doing the basic physics/biology diet of 'burn more calories than you eat and weight drops off' approach.

The 'mid-target' for this is to run my first Parkrun/5k by Easter. I'm doing a couch to 5k thing now. Which should get me to 5k if I follow it through by March. 5 runs so far this month on that.

The second one though is get physically fit again. So, set 2 'big' targets for that one. The main one is get to a healthy BMI. Currently I'm a whooping 34 BMI. That's going to mean having to loose about 25kg. So, that's the target for my birthday (Sept).

So, I know it's a bit late for New Years Resolutions, but thought I might as well 'document' what mine are for this year. The first one is fairly boring to be honest - sort out my finances. That basically boils down to 'stop using your credit cards' so it's going to be very boring to track.
