Agree that Sporting KC is at the bottom now, and won't be truly competitive until the summer when they can get up to 6 new players signed and integrated, but I'm encouraged they are headed in the right direction on the GM and coaching front. Hard to overstate how far in the ditch they were last year

Good article. The team looks well coached. Reid and Harris showed promise. I liked James at right back, and Shapi was better than I expected in midfield. Still need 6 new players, of which LBJ and Blorian are two. Afrifa looked terrible.

Agreed. But the organization was burned down when PV was there and in charge of everything. David Lee walked into almost nothing in the way of front office, analytics, scouts.

Excited for #SportingKC season. This team hasn't been competitive since 2018 & the last 2 seasons have been disasters giving up 70 & 66 goals. Adding a successful GM and new local ownership committed to spend and win has SKC headed in right direction. Slow start on signings but there's hope now.
