(1/2) βItβs fantastic that all this expertise exists in Sweden and Iβm thrilled to have brought this team togetherβ says @delemottelab.bsky.social who leads a project with researchers from 5 universities, aiming to develop a new strategy for designing drug molecules targeting #IonChannels π§ͺ

I remember asking you years ago: How do you know so many things? And you said: oh thatβs easy, I just listen to this American life! Thatβs the first podcast I started listening to seriously. So thank you, and congratulations!

Good point! Difficult road to follow for a conformational change in e.g. a membrane protein however!

That was a lot of fun! Listen to Miloszβs podcast Phase Space Invaders, lots of useful content for our community in a format we are not used to!

Iβm told burnout comes less from having too much to do but rather feeling like what you have to do is out of your control (and/or unpleasant work). So, working out substantial changes in what youβre obligated to be doing is the best way out. Thus making space for something new/interesting!

Great to see it! Solvent is accounted for implicitly, I assume? Would you say this might be applicable to membrane proteins? π¬ looking forward to the community finally agreeing on benchmarks !!
