you can't make FRLG and XD interact together even though the main draw of the latter is to transfer Jotho Pokemons that are otherwise unavailable + you can't 100% FRLG because the lack of day/night cycle makes some Pokemon impossible to obtain

and the games + HOME aren't compatible. absolute cinema

i was already thinking there was no reason to play the ports of FRLG/XD over the originals (beyond them being inaccessible physically) but learning that they actually recompiled FRLG to add a profanity filter but couldn't be bothered to bundle all languages together certainly is a Game Freak moment
