Sorry I missed you though!
I was up in early January! Moreso to see some friends rather than the trains π
I recently went up to Scotland, specifically Glasgow, and had a little look at what are the oldest diagrammed electric passenger trains in operation on the national rail network; the class 318s and 320s. Video is out now;

A few weeks ago now Chiltern Railways introduced their new Mk5as, formerly of Transpennine Express. I made a video expaining how the new trains might benefit Chiltern; youtu.be/zKVPqUdABg8
A week ago I decided to go and attempt to travel on the ENTIRE Chiltern Railways network in one day... here's how I did!

Good morning from your new Chiltern Railways "Explorer" Mk5a train! A real party atmosphere here today with 13 5 carriage Mk5as being rolled out for the December timetable change! Today was the official launch although a set did run yesterday!
I recently ventured out with GWR on the Great Western Mainline between Reading and Didcot, a line which I think deserves more attention! So much so I made a video on it! You can check it out here;
Recently I randomly decided to go out in Manchester and try and go on every single mode of transport (all the train companies, the Bee Network and Metrolink) in Manchester in the quickest time possible! How long does it take for me? Find out here; youtu.be/f1aTOJFEwOo
Hey all! Recently went on what is quite an under appreciated line - the Elephant and Bear line between Leamington Spa & Nuneaton via Coventry! I went to all the intermediate stations, 4 of which are under 40 years old! Check out the video now

Probably quicker than the actual one π
Thanks Chris ππ

Super happy to hit this milestone, one step closer to 10,000!!!
Thanks to anyone who's subscribed over the years, and if you haven't done so yet - what are you waiting for!!!!
For those of us not in the cult, this is what we hear when anyone from the Trump administration speaks.
For the people in the back, this is satire and so well doneβ¦
The TFW class 230s have been widely regarded as unreliable trains, but just how unreliable are they? That's what I'm looking at in my latest video!

A few days ago the last scheduled class 455 diagram ran, so on the 20th Dec I decided to have one last ride on these iconic trains! I made a video and you can watch it now; youtu.be/O8meqsNYLJ4
Hey all! A lot of the talk regarding this years December Timetable Change has been regarding the ECML and LNER, but Avanti's new service which calls at Liverpool South Parkway (for the first time), has been slightly overlooked! I made a video on it which you can watch now! youtu.be/1qnd8qflCmg
Recently Metrolink released the stats for passenger usage of it's tram stops for 2024, with a new least used stop taking the crown off of Panoma - but what is that stop? Find out in my video! youtu.be/WpsJVmQSqt0
I recently visited every Metrolink stop on the Altrincham line, looking at every stop and the facts which you may not have known about! Watch it here; youtu.be/XBOJOWIsdw0
Hey all! In this week's video I look in-depth at the class 769-FLEX units to see if they are truly Britain's worst trains!

Bus passes over a road junction outside Oxford Rd Station
Tram departs St Peter's Sq whilst a Piccadilly bound tram waits at the platform. Bit shaky this one - I wasn't using my tripod whilst taking it!
Trams pass on the run up to Deansgate Castlefield
Christmas decoration & tram outside Manchester Library
Some recent bus/tram pics whilst out in Manchester!
Quite happy with a few of these to be fair π
In my video this week I look at the stations between Liverpool South Parkway and Warrington Central, including a station which gets just four trains per day! Out now!
youtu.be/gUzw_Qc8R9o
Sankey used to get a regular service (hourly) before W.West was built. W.West was built to serve a new housing development and is in the catchment of more people! W.West is only 15 min walk from Sankey.
Sankey's station building is still in decent nick!
Platforms of Warrington West station
Class 150 at Warrington West - this train is 34 years older than the station it was at! Quite impressive.
Went to the pretty interesting station of Sankey for Penketh on Friday. A station which was de facto replaced by the nearby Warrington West in 2019, but still receives a skeleton 4 trains a day service!
Having visited at noon on a Friday, it was pretty desolate. Expect a video soon on the topic π
Ouch - how long they been there for
We still just on the 3 refurbished 168s atm? Lost track a bit recently
Different video this week! I used AI to take me on a random adventure across Merseyrail, playing the Random Station Game! Video out now - youtu.be/ifHA7YzvJJQ
Hello! My new series on the Manchester Metrolink begins here - where I look at the Zone 1 stops on the Manchester Metrolink. If you're interested in the Metrolink or transport/trams in general then do give this a watch :D

I'm exploring the two direct Liverpool - Manchester railway lines; looking at all the stations inbetween and some of the facts which you may not have known about! Episode 1 (Lime St - Liverpool South Parkway) is out NOW! youtu.be/1N80ps2yd08
