Anyone who saw this was a winner tonight. Just brilliant.

My new favourite rugby photo ever
Had an absolute blast at the #Hoppers junket earlier this week but could not have got these interviews out without @ondrive.bsky.social saving my ass, even though he was busy with other things. He’s a good egg.

I just think it's a consistent fundamental misreading of creative intent that says an awful lot about where we are with both men and the world.
It never ceases to amaze me, though, how their choice of fictional characters to align with consistently wave massive red flags. These are literally THE BAD GUYS, guys. Explicitly bad/amoral, but I don't think they can distinguish between protagonist and hero and its shows.
Again, with the media literacy: The Joker, Heisenberg, Kylo Ren, fucking Deadpool and Les Grossman are interesting choices.
Birmingham! Next week, we're bringing the brilliant Alien On Stage to the Midlands Arts Centre for a very special one-off screening. And we've persuaded the directors to come along for a Q&A as well! Full details here...

Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.

Reform win a seat: The true Volk have spoken and we all must listen.
Greens win a seat: Early reports that Muslims may have ‘voted’ (an ancient Islamic practice designed to steal elections). How severely should the franchise be limited in response?
I deeply resent “working class” being taken by much of our political/media class to mean “mostly racist”.
So the Telegraph is taking this well
Not Reform playing the Trump 'voter fraud' card, surely?!? Who'd'a'thunkit?
Maxine Peake talks to Film Stories about her work in I Swear - and collecting the people she plays on screen and stage!

Fun reminder that Jared Kushner's dad is a convicted felon who along with his other crimes hired a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law and record it when he learned the brother-in-law was cooperating with authorities, and Trump not only pardoned him but made him ambassador to France.
I think it's important that all the Qanon loons should know that there's been a coverup and that it's now their time to shine. www.npr.org/2026/02/24/n...
There's a lot of chat about #Firefly coming back this morning. Which made me think of Movies with Mikey's essay on Serenity, one of the great video essays. It has a lot of pre-Whedon-as-nightmare things to say about why Firefly is so important... www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHo7...
Yep
Just had to update the Manchester NYE street meme after seeing that
Truly this publication is doing the best work in film journalism right now.
Oops. Turns out Persona, Discord’s age-verification service, was secretly screening selfies against government watchlists AND accessible by the feds. It's backed by Peter Thiel.
“The state wants to see everything. The corporations want to see everything. And they've learned to work together.”
This is the kind of thing a rich CEO says at the beginning of a science fiction movie to establish for the audience that he is a sociopath and the villain.
