🚨A lawmaker in Louisiana just intro'd a bill that would shield oil companies from climate lawsuits.

Similar bills have moved forward in OK and UT. A member of Congress said she's drafting a bill.

API said this was a top priority.

This Is Not a Regime Change War. Iran Is Being Pushed Toward State Collapse. The US and Israel have killed Ayatollah Khamenei, but they seem to have no plan for what comes next.

A prolonged vacuum in Tehran would not produce orderly transition. It would invite regional intervention, militia mobilization, and competing territorial claims. Fragmentation would not be theoretical. It would be violent.

This is a huge scandal. Under pressure, a Dem rep said she would refuse AIPAC money. So instead Hakeem Jeffries is secretly funneling AIPAC money into her race through a shadow super PAC.

Party leaders don’t even consider the notion of sticking to her promise.

How Brothel Workers in Nevada Just Made Labor History The courtesans at Sheri’s Ranch were staring down a horrifying new contract. So they did what workers everywhere do: They got organized.

When faced with a shockingly exploitative new employment contract that would’ve forced them to sign away their IP, their likeness rights, and their power of attorney, Jupiter Jetson and her coworkers at Sheri’s fought back—fast.

They organized a union in SIX DAYS. www.thenation.com/article/econ...

“autonomous weapons systems that can use AI to kill people without human input” sounds really bad to begin with. But put it together with the report about the AIs preferring nuclear war and it seems to cross that line to into existentially bad. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

On February 18, DHS sent a memo sent to field agents, stating that refugees who have been in the country for more than a year and still don’t have their green cards will now be subject to arrest and indefinite detention while their cases are reviewed, approved, and processed.
