There's a reddit thread, which seems to indicate that over 600-ish DBs is where the problem kicks in. The OP on that thread has about 3000 DBs (on Express, but same problem on Std/Enterprise edition)

7th double bass is as far as I've gone in that department - that was Saint-Saens 3, in Ripon Cathedral, with Harrogate Symphony Orchestra. That was the first time I've been behind the violas while playing bass. Great fun.
