I’ve always loved the song, but felt that the dark, ominous lyrics deserved a heavier, more haunting edge.
My cover strips away the original’s cheery tone & twists it into another thing entirely.

“Burn the Witch” is one of my favorites for many reasons. It’s got a subtle haunting build musically that matches the intense lyrical subject.

The first time I performed “Through the Valley” live was at a basement house show in Arkansas, 2012.
I never thought that song would reach where it has today.
It wasn’t til 5 years after this that it gained any traction.
Some things take a long time to grow.
Patience is hard.
Forever posting this once in a lifetime experience every year around winter time.

I played “Attached” live for the first time ever at the old church on Saturday and it felt so damn good.
Thank you all for coming out to our last shows of the year.
It was magical and the perfect ending.
