Cool episode. Fun to hear all the discussion in that spot, even if it's not clear what the 'answer' is.
Congrats again on the win, @jasoniltg.bsky.social !

Framed cross stitch project of Homer in the Land of Chocolate from one of my favorite #Simpsons episodes, βBurns Verkaufen der Kraftwerkβ
Lost in the Top 16 in a very close match. Any win today would have been gravy, so Iβm not disappointed. Thanks to everyone that offered encouragement and congratulations.
Played in Day 1 of the Arena Championship 11 today. I was able to go 6-0, so I get to play tomorrow as the 1-seed. The result also qualified me for the upcoming Pro Tour in Las Vegas.
Last of the Magic art cross stitch projects that I got back from framing. The matting has a metallic pattern which goes well with the subject matter: Mox Opal - Kaladesh Inventions
I had already done a cross stitch for Top, so I figured I needed to do this one as well.
An iconic image that I was excited to turn into a cross stitch project. I think the mat brings out the green in the background.
I saw Ok Go open for They Might Be Giants in 2001 while living in Chicago.
When I was getting my new cross stitch projects framed, I had an older one reframed. Hereβs the Sapphire Medallion.
Congrats on the Top 32 finish! That's a great accomplishment.
Finally got my last few cross stitch projects framed. I think they all turned out great! Iβll post them all in the next week, but Iβll start with the most recent one: Aeolipile
Started a new cross stitch project. Working from the upper left portion of the pattern. Can you tell what itβll be yet?
This is a place that's provides a nice place for local youth in Lexington, including some of my nieces. I was happy to offer them some support and share their message.
(and I heard they have great donuts too!)

Finished! The final push on this project went much faster than I had thought. Super excited with how it turned out. I've posted the original Aeolipile so you can compare them.
Now time to figure out the next one...
Over the holiday break I had time to work on my cross stitch project while hanging out with family. Got quite a bit done and I think Iβm on the home stretch.
At the start of the pandemic, I started walking 10,000 steps per day to keep myself active. I ramped that number up to 15K steps per day by the start of 2021. 2025 was the 5th year I've had this goal. I only missed that target 3 times last year and 19 in the 5 years (over 28.3 million steps).
I had taken a break from my cross stitch project during the middle of the year, but picked it up in the Fall. Still not finished with the lower right section, but wanted to get an update photo.
Congrats! I was able to Q today for the 1st time myself. Too bad we can't play Limited for it. :)
After playing 3 days of BO3 Sealed, I was able to qualify for the Arena Champs.
Went 4-0 in Play-In with R/W/g Lessons
Went 7-2 in Qualifier - Day 1 with B/W Airbend
Went 4-1 in Qualifier - Day 2 with 5-color Simic
Too late to get me, RFKJr!

You need to think like someone who wasnβt born in the late 1900s. If I had to guess, Iβd say something like Minecraft.
I donβt have many people in my social group still in the grad school bracket, but itβs still worth sharing.
Glad to hear we get one in August. Wish Day 1 didn't happen the same day as the ACQ BO1 events.
