A few years ago the local councils installed these stray cat shelters. A team of volunteer feeders make sure they're always stocked with clean water and cat biscuits.

The injured pigeon sat on top of a limestone wall.
Pigeon rehabilitation day 5. I still can't catch it.
It always sleeps on top of the wall but is able to walk along the wall now, albeit limpy. It can fly short distances to the buildings opposite but keeps coming back to this spot.

We've had an injured pigeon on top of our yard wall for the last two days. It arrived in the windy weather. No rings on its legs. The wall is too tall for me to reach up and catch it, and when I try it panics and moves further away.
I'll keep feeding it and giving it water. I hope it recovers 🙏
