Make no mistake. Every politician, pundit & online grifter amplifying Musk's dangerous lies will be aware of this intervention by now. Make no mistake, they are choosing to mislead the public & politicise the suffering of victims in the shameful pursuit of political advantage, attention & clicks.
Sad to hear the news about Jimmy Carter but what an amazing life. I was lucky to meet him in 1986 when I was in a student production of Hamlet. He was charming, funny & down to earth. #RIPJimmyCarter
How any Tory can whine about Labour's fiscal prudence after supporting this is beyond me.
So it turns out they spent Β£715 million on sending a grand total of FOUR volunteers to Rwanda.
For comparison, this is more than you could expect to spend on building an entire brand new hospital in the UK
Merger plans that would create Englandβs second-biggest multi-academy trust are due to be decided next month β by a board its chair sits on and with its chief executive already in charge of the other chain
Not only is this a great & innovative school (with great people) but they share what they find works & support other schools.

I wonder why..... hmmmmmmmm

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #6,115,499!
Ofstedβs response to Ruth Perryβs death appeared 'defensive and complacent' and the watchdog must move away from the discourse that 'inspectors are never wrong', a damning review has found
ββ¦ a statement in March that "seemed to imply that Ofsted had little to learn from the tragedy", the review saidβ¦β www.bbc.com/news/article...
Despite @ofstednews.bsky.social saying they have changed I am afraid I remain unconvinced that the βcultureβ will change. I hope I am wrong.
It is a step in the right direction until the report card system is implemented next year.
This is a government working with the profession & not against it.
Some good people on this, if a little MAT heavy. However Jon Hutchinson was, I believe, part of the core group which developed the ECT framework. Many people, including myself, believe that it is utterly flawed & a huge missed opportunity.

Labour want to change Ofsted.
How can they go into a school year with a system they know isnβt right and causes distress and anxiety?
Pause inspections for a year, reflect on Big Listen, consult, rewrite, and pilot. Launch in Sept 2025. Safeguarding inspections only this year.
