Hi! I’m Bárbara, I’m a Technical Artist and I’ve also started to develop my first game! I love 3D, shaders and optimization! 🌈

This is what starting to develop a game looks like on my end! Before this stage, I wrote a mini-GDD with all the necessary information to get started. I've begun coding the main game mechanics in Blueprints and testing them out to get a feel for the gameplay!

En el libro Stolen Focus (Johann Hari, lectura recomendada), hay de hecho X capítulos que hablan precisamente de eso; cómo la gente que diseña apps utiliza mecanismos como el enfado, ira, odio… para provocar que pases más tiempo en las apps de morros que feliz, lo cual paradójicamente engancha mas.

En la época en la que algunos amigos tenían el GH y en el ciber también te lo encontrabas, allí estaba yo en casa con el teclado con cable de 2M dándolo todo en las Fs, Enter y Backspace para la púa y el Space para el tremolo. Una fantasía. A día de hoy sigo jugando pero ya con guitarra de PS2 😂

Ciertamente, The Last of Us, Far Cry y Zelda BotW también deberían de estar en la lista. Cuantas más vueltas le doy, más me doy cuenta de juegos que me faltan por añadir…
