I’m thinking that Heaven must be a Vermont kind of place.
I hope VP gets the skiing vacation he deserves. 😂
I got the Forestburgh apples!
These are such happy magnets. Of the two that I got from QC, I kept one for my bulletin board, and sent the other to a friend who couldn’t attend this year. Double the happiness! Thank you for making such a fun thing to give out! ❤️
I’m home and back in the swing of regular life after an excellent time at QuiltCon in Phoenix, the annual conference of the Modern Quilt Guild. This year, I had the joy and honor of seeing two of my own quilts in the show!
One of our supporters shared this with us—people are getting creative tonight!
Less than one week until QuiltCon!!
Last year, I attended for the first time and had fun starting a trend of using selvedge letters to make nametags and lanyards. At the risk of being uncool by sticking with a year-old fad 😂 I made another selvedge letter lanyard for this year!
This picture of my poodle holding my daughter’s pacifier always makes me smile. He would always try to sneak off with it and this past summer I finally caught him in the act and got this pic. 😂
It’s my big kid’s 100th day of school today! Here’s his themed shirt of “100 different colors”. He chose the colors from a fabric swatch booklet that I had, and I pieced it together after bedtime last night. He was so excited to wear it to school this morning. I love sewing for my kids. 🥰
Thank you!
It’s a little one! Only 11.5” x 11.5”!
A vibrant hand-quilted improvisational quilt made up of color blocked sections and black and white squiggles.
My latest weird quilt that I’ve finished! Improv pieced, hand quilted.
I’m not sure yet what this social media space will look like for me since my personal world and quilting world are intermingled here on Bluesky, but colorful improv quilts will likely be a large percentage of my posts!
