Agreed. But I would give Egbuka the nod as the better receiver on account of his speed, route running and hands. Tate is good deep threat with great body control, but not the possession type receiver.
No offense to Tate, but I think he’s a tad overrated. He’s a good receiver, but benefited from Jeremiah Smith double teams most of the season. Anybody who is expecting another JSN, MHJ, or Egbuka, is going to be disappointed.
Damn! He was just finding his groove this season too.
