It's hilarious that "working class" now applies exclusively to the racist failsons of regional car dealership owners but every unemployed trans person is an "elite".

I love the weaselry of "well even if he's not working class, he's worked WITH working class people, which is LIKE being working class"--like anyone who has working class people working at the company he owns could, theoretically, be "working class." Probably the school had a working-class custodian!

Hotchkiss, the Connecticut Prep School, Platner attended, is for rich kids, and always been for rich kids. I had some friends who attended the local prep school near where I grew up (Berkshire School). I would not consider Hotchkiss to be the type of New England Private school Grim describes.
