Chloe, a an anthropomorphic raccon-tanuki plush-person (human-sized) sits at their computer, wearing a bathrobe. Various toys sit on top of their computer, while the racc-u-nuki glares at the screen, hunched over, holding the mouse tiredly. They look grumpy, their visible eye fatigued, with a large emo-bang of hair swept over their other eye. Chloe's thoughts are depicted in light gray, "manager out of town... doin her goddamn-- spreadsheets. "--as her cashier. at home. on my day off. "'Oh yeah I owe ya one!' She says. fuckin' fu-ckinnn'.. ...I dunno. Sucks."

Chloe is shown closer-up. On their computer sits a wolf-girl toy in particular, motionless. Some time pass. Chloe types on their computer with a TIK TAKA TAKA TIK. A voice from below calls, "Oi. Hey. Hey. "Hey hey hey." A knife plunges into Chloe's typing hand with a SHiNK. Chloe grimaces. "HEY" the voice calls. Chloe screams, their speech bubble containing an image of Tom from Tom and Jerry screaming "AAA" Thus shouts Hex, the wolf-girl from earlier, not-so inanimate, holding a small stack of pancakes, "I MADE YOU PANCAKES YOU FUCKING LOSER. "I HOPE YOUR DAY IMPROVES, DIPSHIT."

Chloe observes, in response, "you stabbed me in the hand." Hex more uneasily looks down at the pancakes, adding, "Look-- Fuck-- "You clearly forget some basic shit with all that stuff to do. "And I-- appreciate you, so-- treat yourself once in a while, 'ight?" Chloe is silent, ".... .... ...." Before remarking, eye wide, mouth open and contorted in pain, "...... you stabbed me in the Fucking Hand" Hex grits her sharp teeth, glaring coldly at Chloe, "you want a trophy? "You Want a McFucking Trophy?"

This hole isn't just there, it's my charcoal pit! This blank cliff face is perfect for temporary shelter. Putting my house on the edge of a pond gives me unique experiences. I accidentally burnt down the forest I was next to and now it's a permanently open field unless I work to restore it!!!

Vintage Story on the other hand has mechanics that directly play into it's creative-building-blocks genre. I look around my world and it feels like I have inextricably made an impact on it. It's layout is important to me and the geometry itself feels engaging.

as with most of my peers, I also come back to minecraft like once a year, but with every new update it's harder for it to retain my interest. All the new features aren't exciting, they just feel like they're meant to be stimulating for as much time as I decide to put into them.

I'M SO GLAD!!!

Vintage Story is everything that I wish minecraft had become. It has that whimsical yet slightly melancholic peace that MC pre-1.6 was so special to me for. VS damn near as mechanically complex as modern MC but instead of armor trims and elytras, it has pottery forming and prospecting
