Our 100th bird of 2025 was this cracking Willow Tit this afternoon.
An incredible day in Northumberland. Ridiculous views of the White-billed Diver before it flew right over our heads towards the sea. Also Ring-necked Duck, Scaup, Bittern, Twite, Hen Harrier, Short-eared Owl, Velvet Scoter and RB Merganser 😮
These were out first Yellowhammer for aaaages. No ducks yet this year though!
We picked a nearby field to walk around today and it paid off! 20 species in total including 10 Stock Dive, 17 Yellowhammer, 30+ Fieldfare, Meadow Pipit, Redwing, Song & Mistle Thrushes ❄️
We're lucky to have a gang of 20+ Grey Partridges nearby and they make me smile every time we go and see them. Lovely wee things 🙂
