if they want an allotment plot they need to put work in, if they dont want to put the work in, they shouldnt get a plot. unfortunately many humans can be really stupid, but good news is cats are highly intelligent

air temps always go well above avg any time of year. 16c over xmas and new yr a few yrs ago, meant to be about 11-12c, nights didnt go below 13 when should be no more than 8. had temps in the 20s in february our coldest winter month. the sea is warmer than normal nowadays too
π
1 tornado wasnt too far from my town, 1 of the roads that had a lot of tree damage, 4 miles from me, looked so bare after. someone driving near barton on sea area (where it started), had a near miss with a metal shed roof from farm buildings.
ai fucks everything up, so no, it cannot do weather, will not be useful or accurate, be awful its why we have humans... we already know apps cant do forecasts when they are based on a computer input rather than human input
probably do π
glad you were found and got extra brekie. not got a garage at mine but have a shed that is not used overly often, if i do happen to forget to shut it when ive cut the grass, i always check its empty before closing it, never know if my cats or a neighbours cat have snuck in there.
i had a cat of my own that got shut in the wardrobe, when eventually found, me "omg, im so sorry, are you ok?" her "whats all the fuss about, i love it in here" then she got shut in an electric ottoman bed for about 3-4hrs, had a nice nap amongst bedding, again i am all apologetic, she was fine π
there was 2 or 3 close together, fairly slow, then another 1 or 2 a short time later. no sign of any one else. i did try and look over from east cliff at 1.30-2ish, thinking might be more people at that time, but cliffs were blocking my view of the prom.
i walked across one in i think its alum chine, thankfully dry ground below, noticed the quicker i walked, it started to move, so i was going across really slowly hoping it didn't move, then a cyclist raced across, omg. quite scary for someone who doesn't like these bridge types.
omg a suspension bridge in that wind. how much was that swaying?
saw a few joggers at beach, from bosc cliff about 11.30-12. not many. i was thinking bet the wind will help the runners speed up a bit on the last bit of the route, eso as i was blown along cliff top walking back to car, even got blown sideways across the road. was so cold there though
im meant to be visiting the cliff goats in bmth tomorrow, might be too windy for them to be up on the cliff waiting for visitors. will i see anything of the race late am/lunch time?
Nothing visible here but can anyone identify the bird noise? Wetlands area south coast not far from river #birds #birdsounds
i would give it a try, had cats that lovely tummy rubs but know some hate it, worth the risk. met a new cat the other week, she showed me her tummy, i took a risk and rubbed it and she loved it
fluffy clouds with white and red cargo plane
fluffy clouds and european cargo plane - plane is white and red
normally prefer blue skies for plane photos, but todays fluffy clouds look good with the local european cargo plane #planespotting #cloudspotting
the cloud with a face, looks like a stingray.
late summer blast isnt an indian summer unless it comes after a frost. papers (not actual forecasters) will always claim a 20c + day from 1st sept onwards is "indian summer" but indian summer is much later and apparently after a frost
www.bbc.co.uk/weather/arti...
missing from that is: "we are all going to die" "harrp" and im sure others too lol
im not ancient but i struggle to get down and back up lol. the joys of a spinal problem and knee troubles due to a condition i have
that would require a uk wide frost very soon then a spell of 20s afterwards... not very likely to get a widepsread frost in september or early oct.... even if we do get a widespread frost in the next approx 6 weeks, no one would know far in advance about that or what will happen after
2022 was last time it looked like autumn in early to mid july. i would expect 2018 as well as that had a long dry spell, but i think its usually if the warm dry summer follows a warm dry spring - so depends what 2018 spring was like (i cant remember)
we do long days out, go out early & get back at bedtime. never go away, our cats have always had health conditions & could easily get sick without warning as happened last year, cat was fine at 9am, 10am she collapsed due to her health condition. also have 12yr old cat who is scared of other humans
not bad, cost about 3.50 here in shops, most ice cream vans charge Β£5-Β£7. probably cost a tenner in london
that path looks interesting, must get some nice views from there
breaking from about 6pm... too late then
how much is a whippy over your way?
silly ice cream melting when its not even hot.
felt like autumn this afternoon at 4pm, 18c cloudy on south coast
I sat out in 18c and occasional light rain recently to have an ice cream at the local quay π i was rather cold afterwards
