Pedro Eusebio, Director of Instituto Cervantes in Manchester, introduced the plenary session by Dr. Gustavo Herrera Taboada (University of Edinburgh) on his insightful presentation "Un cine por emancipar: The Peruvian-Spanish Coproductions of Francisco Lombardi (1988-2006)."
Today’s plenary talk at AHGBI 2025 was by Dr Jesse Barker (University of Aberdeen), who spoke on “Frames of Nature: Ecology and Politics in Visual Media (1928–2024).”
