I donβt know if itβs because some other factor is at play here, but I did legitimately enjoy this despite it not being the best or most original paleodoc. It was a pleasant surprise.
Needless to say, it is a definite improvement over Life On Our Planet.
Never thought Iβd say this, but Netflixβs βThe Dinosaursβ is somehow a better successor to Walking With Dinosaurs than the actual WWD sequel.
Itβs not perfect at all, but it mostly excels in terms of its scope, presentation and use of both familiar and underrated species.
7-8/10
I don't want to see apologies from creators for their choices to honor their morals. I want to see corporations respect artists' autonomy and consent, ESPECIALLY in regards to "policies" that would compromise the worker's moral integrity.

Okay, Iβll bite. Hoppers is damn good.
Once more, the marketing did it dirty. It was actually super funny and heartfelt (didnβt get me crying, but still), and I found myself relating to Mabel more than I thought I would. Itβs probably the best Pixar film in a while. Go watch it!

So, what now? To a degree, its a loss. But not without hope:
- The votes were mostly on party lines
- Our messages are getting through and bills are being questioned
- The bills still need to GET to the House Floor

So, I'm still a bit sick to my stomach but here's where we're at:
- KIDS Act passed 28-24(4 nays may have been rigged)
- ASAA was attempted to be removed, but lassed 26-23
- Sammy's Law passed 36-16
- COPPA 2.0 was pulled to be discussed later(?)

"Hmm. Who did I find it most difficult to work with?
Animators. Definitely animators. You know? "Chase this dinosaur! Chase that dinosaur!" You'd swear we couldn't act! It's so degrading."

This is the end result of these backwards and badly thought out laws like COPPA, where the government is actively position the idea of queer expression as harmful for kids, so it can use that and similar laws to erase online queer communities from the internet.

KOSA creates a "duty of care" requiring social media platforms to prevent "harmful" content. It would empower FTC Chair Andrew Ferguson, who considers transgender healthcare and LGBTQ content to be threats to children, to decide what counts as "harmful." @fightforthefuture.org

Section 230 remains one of the most misunderstood laws in America, and that misunderstanding keeps producing policy proposals that would make the internet worse, not better. Last year, I wrote a lengthy response to reporterβ¦
DreamWorks has officially unveiled new details about The Wild Robot sequel. The film is named after the second book, The Wild Robot Escapes, and Nimona director Troy Quane will direct while Chris Sanders will return to write the sequel. I was hyped before, my hype has tripled.

Cover art for an unfinished comic adaptation of the 1998 PC game Nanosaur. It features the title character- an anthropomorphic featherless Jurassic Park style dromaeosaurid- running through a rocky canyon while holding a dinosaur egg and firing a laser hand-cannon, with some pterosaurs looming behind him overhead. Wallpaper for a comic adaptation of the 1998 PC game Nanosaur. Features the titular character (an orange featherless dromaeosaurid armed with a jetpack and laser hand cannon) with an egg in his right hand as running for his life from a grey, scaly Tyrannosaurus rex with an injured left eye through a swamp. Art by Richard Bonk.
I remember an earlier publisher tried adapting Nanosaur into a comic back in the early 2000s. Only one issue was made and for some reason it sadly never continued.
Which is why Iβm so happy seeing this new comic revive Nanosaur after so many years and I hope we get more soon.
A cool surprise came in the mail yesterday. Nanosaur was one of my favorite games as a kid, so when I heard it got a new comic via Bleakheaven last year, I had to get a copy.
Just read it and had a blast! Love the art and how it adapts the story. Canβt wait for more issues!

Your representatives need to know you don't want KOSA, KOSMA, The Screen Act, or any of the others put into law.

Maryland folks, please consider not voting for Alsobrooks as she is in support of stripping your rights to "protect the kids."
KOSA and KOSMA are damgerous, not a solution. Keep her out of office.
UPDATE:
The House Energy & Commerce hearing for KOSA and related bills will be *this* Thursday. If you donβt want the US to endure the same mass online censorship as the UK, nowβs the time to act. Call your reps!

I am very happy and proud I could be part of the process and hope I can contribute a little more in the future in similar productions ^^
