Did I mention how my favourite part of Neuyako is how Neuro just holds Yako by the head for easy placement/transport and nobody else in-universe bats an eye. Like oh our genius high school detective is being carried around by her head by her assistant? All good 👍

Every time I reread it I'm reminded of how invested Neuro is in Yako's "evolution" and the way she was able to pull through in the end to fool Sicks simply because Neuro said he believed in her. SHIP... 🥹🥹

Yako's metamorphosis and how she caught up to Neuro is so important to me. The anger he felt when she was frightened and tried taking a step back, and the way they reestablished their partnership when she came around 🥹 Yako is so upright and strong and I love her for that.
