Now that the Adobe debacle has started to die down, please don’t forget about the animators. There are a lot of crafts, including animation, that have gotten the shit end of the stick during bargaining for decades. My craft is dying. We need more in house animation.
Someone has a year to buy the code for Adobe Animate, make it open source like Blender, and really do something worthwhile in this world.
I remember howling about subscription-based software when they first pulled this Creative Cloud shit and here we are.
It needs to be made illegal.
