One conversation. One.
One issue she didn’t want to talk about, and so the left decided to support an actual fascist instead.
How shortsighted we were.

How shortsighted we were.
Like Obama, the time to push her on one single issue was not on the campaign trail.
Get her into office, and then push. It worked with Obama, and we have no reason to believe it wouldn’t have worked with her. Except that too many on the left made sure we didn’t have the chance.
I don’t mind that it’s a teen show. I loved Prodigy, and that was targeted even younger.
I mind that what I’ve seen not very good.
You could have said the same thing about Obama and marriage equality in 2008.
And you’d have been wrong. Again.
Once again, do you think handing the country to Project 2025 wasn’t obviously going to make that genocide worse?
If you can’t be bothered with harm reduction, it’s because you don’t actually care about that harm.
I’m lucky - I can vote Working Familes and register my voice as a proud leftist while still voting for a candidate who can actually win.

On a local level? Yes.
On a national level? No there aren’t. No third party has put in the work to build a national infrastructure. The closest we have is the Greens, but Jill Stein is a literal Russian asset.
Only if we on the left refused to vote against that fascist.
Again.
I don’t have enough privilege to pretend that’s okay with me. You do you.
Kamala was not going to rip your healthcare away.
You’ve been listening to the wrong people.

The far right learned this half a century ago - you vote in every election, every office, until you’re an essential part of the coalition and they have to listen to you.
Sitting out elections, promising not to vote, only makes it harder for us to get what we want.
Excellent. I canvassed for him as well.
And I want more like him in office. Which will happen if we stop silencing our own voices and join the greater conversation.
She definitely could have been.
Obama was against marriage equality when he first ran. But in office, he was moved to the right side and he became a champion.
I wonder what might have happened if we’d allowed that one issue to turn us away from voting.
This is what frustrates me so much - those of us on the left could easily win the conversation if we actually joined it. But by refusing to sit at the table, we silence our own voice.
The far right learned that, they put in the work to make themselves essential. Why can’t we?
It’s a binary choice.
Those who “couldn’t bring themselves to vote for her” were supporting Trump. If for no other reason than we need to cancel out the lunatic votes.
Democrats are movable. They’ve shown that.
Republicans are not. They’ve shown that.
Keep supporting republicans, and you’ll never get what you want.
Obama gave us the ACA, expanding health care to millions of Americans.
If we keep electing Democrats, we can work to expand health care even more to everyone.
Keep supporting Republicans and they’ll just take it away from everyone.
This election is more important than Texas’s primaries which are really a fight over if the Democrats and Republicans will move away from the center.
Wisconsin is having yet another Supreme Court race. Let’s push for an even bigger blowout than the last 3.

Snyderbros are always the worst in any group of people.
Thanks Robert for all the wonderful performances.
I wonder what Godfather III would have been like of they hadn’t low-balled him out of participating. Might have actually been good.
How can we stop it?
Our system does not allow for a change of government until the midterms.
You can keep repeating that, it won’t be true.
And it won’t ever excuse your support of trump.
We’re seeing with Strange New Worlds how lazy a prequel can be.
At once too interested in repeating the past, all the while showing they don’t understand the point of the old stories.
I’m not the target for SA. I don’t resent them making all kinds of different Treks, just wish one was better.
It’s very easy to say that closing the government achieves much when you don’t rely on it for survival.
Vulnerable people are hurt when the government is shut down. They are largely the *only* people hurt.
But if you don’t count them as people, sure. No problem, go right ahead. Says a lot.
And putting Trump in office fixes the system… how?
I hate it. I want it to stop. The people who “just couldn’t bring themselves to vote for her” were voting to super-size the genocide.
Kamala was movable. Just as we moved Obama on marriage equality. But the empty gesture of voting against her on this issue is killing more Palestinians now.
They don’t care about your facts.
They only hate Democrats more than they love the people they claim to support.
You supported Trump because you’re against war crimes and DHS? I’ve got bad news for you.
Every bit of progressive policy came because we got behind Democrats and pushed them while in office.
Kamala was movable. That’s what Blue MAGA refuses to understand.
Obama was anti-marriage equality in 2008. That could have been a deal-breaker, but we elected him and moved him to the right side. He became a champion.
But that’s work, Blue MAGA instead just hands the country to fascists.
No, the only Blue MAGA are those who put ideological purity over getting things done.
Blue MAGA are happy to hand the country to fascists rather than support incremental change.
Blue MAGA don’t care about who gets hurt in the process, only their narrow ideology matters. We’ve seen that.
And yet so many leftists decided not to vote against Trump. Sad.
