You think it's action or staged?
Nope
Welp. Homan can't miss now to have a shot. Rough two days for them.
Having to steal the win in an extra because if that 7th. Oof.
A warning sign reading "danger not only will this kill you it will hurt the whole time youre dying"
Roses are red,
These times are quite trying
The back end of the 7th went about as bad as an end could.

I love the Winter Olympics. Nonstop "why the hell would you do that" and "how do you even find OUT you can do that" and curling
I need someone who knows to analyze that photo. It looks wrong.
I mean, to be fair, I'd have to get my hair coloured lightened.
Pierre strikes me as someone who has never taken a punch. Land one and it's probably over.
It is also funny how I'm Manly Trudeau this post feels. And that guy could actually box.
I'm not in great shape but I'm pretty sure I could take Pierre on and not get my ass kicked. He's never lived a day in the real world.
Anyway, just watched the stone Homan had pulled and hilarious to think it affected the throw. Rules are rules but I'm hoping this is just the warning for Curling Canada (Would rather it be against the mens) because this type if nitpicking could ruin the sport.
Think a lot of people also have an outdated idea that curling still has a code of honour to do the right thing and hasn't become a very competitive global sport. It's why they have officials. It's why Sweden went to the officials. And why, when the officials saw nothing, they confronted Canada.
A lot of people talking about this have real "if the ref had called that interference penalty in the 2nd, my team would have won" energy.
Majority of people trying to make sense of this.
Or after, for that matter
Fun.
My hot take is this happens a lot and isn't affecting the game but now we've got a reputation because Kennedy couldn't ignore a few words.
Ah geez, what now?
It's forbidden to dump bodies in the river sign from Dalek Invasion of Earth.

Yeah. They outburst was pretty stupid and I hope they realize that. But egos exist in all sport.
Probably spending too much time watching slowed down replays of a Kennedy shot. Nothing good comes from that.
It also appears to be the only shot this happened? Feels like a big tempest for one out of 128 shots.
It's absolutely a burnt rock so shouldn't have been allowed to get into play but it just doesn't seem to be enough to do anything to the shot so I question the intent. These aren't light objects. bsky.app/profile/nlju...
My brother posited that it might have been a nothing to specifically bother the Swedes. Doesn't seem to be in the spirit if the Olympics but I could see that. The Swedes certainly rose to the bait, if so.
A more positive spin will help keep stones straight so slowing it could induce more curl but tge attempt risks screwing up direction and getting caught. It makes little sense to attempt. But maybe they practice this stuff.
It probably blows over and no one double touches again (unless Kennedy is dumb), but what I still can't grasp is what he was attempting to accomplish. The touch doesn't seem enough to alter the stone in direction or speed.
All I can figure is trying slow the spin to aid in curling.
