In six months, Indy program closed 3 homeless camps, housed 114 people
Indianapolis' Streets to Home Indy program has housed 114 people and closed three camps in six months of operation, a third of the city's goal.
Last summer, Indianapolis officials launched Streets to Home Indy, a city-led campaign to house up to 350 people who lacked shelter and to close all the city's homeless camps in an organized way.
As of March 3, the city is more than a third of the way there.
