I hadn’t considered that possibility before
Greyscale diagram of northwestern Europe with arrows detailing movement and interaction of material cultures linked to Bell Beaker and Corded Ware around the Rhone-Rhine corridor.
I put this figure of Needham's model of a Bell Beaker/Corded Ware fusion into PowerPoint, and I kid you not the auto-generated caption was 'Map of the Battle of Brexit'.

Hey fellow scientists, I'm just letting you know that if you're promoting something with some junky AI image, I'm not gonna click. You've got a workshop, a conference, a new paper?
Just not gonna bother. You want a bespoke image? Hire an illustrator.
I say this every year, but:
The uni students I'm teaching are thoughtful, intelligent, will make everything they encounter better.
With a new addition for 2026:
They deeply hate AI.

I’m not sure what your point is here. Are you saying your article will be too technical for me to understand?
It’s not bad!
No because I’m not a member of the Prehistoric Society….
A giant serpent coils around a stone circle and worshippers turning to stone; in the centre a beam of light shoots.down from the sky.

They do a nice Limoncello on Bute and Cassis on Arran
It can’t be worse than Welsh whisky 😉
Bottle of monsieur fernand whisky
Am I a traitor to my nation? Or should I experiment with this French malt whisky?
