Just. . . don't allow losers to speak at your funeral.
If it's the last thing you do. . . 😂

Wes Montgomery #botd 🎂 inspired listening 👇. About what you'd expect from late 1950s Wes, albeit maybe a bit laid back. Harold Land a welcome presence. Lovely.

Happy Friday everyone, such as they are. 🍷

The reason you so many of the most annoying Twitter Politics guys are sticking by Platner has nothing to do with the candidate or policy and more to do with the fact that they can never have been wrong. I was excited about him for a bit and now I am not. Very easy thing to say if you are normal.

nothing more endearing to people than an "i told you so" at a memorial

I will be honest--I have only ever been to the greater Tokyo area and the Osaka-Kyoto-Nara area and my only reason for saying this is that my wife's family from Hiroshima-ken are the closest Japanese equivalent to my family from Ft Worth that I've ever encountered

An unopened action figure package. Inside is Jean Luc Picard, but dressed in a gardeners outfit, tan hat and overalls with a blue undershirt, that he wore for a portion of one episode.

It comes with a gardening tool, scanner, and carrying case the figurine can hold.

My sister got me this for Christmas because she couldn’t believe they made an action figure of “Dirt Farmer Picard”

A) We are dumb
B) I don't blame the rest of the Americas trying to distance themselves from us. WE SUCK

The joke is on you: under Woke 2, Guantanamo has been repatriated into the Republic of Cuba, so I will be enjoying Hemingway's daiquiri recipe with my feet in the sand

Love the post credit scene where a mysterious man enters the Old Globe and whips off his sunglasses and it’s John Milton and the screen cuts to black

Yeah. But the idea of not reading nonfiction at all is very strange to me

I love watching people use LLMs in public. They’ll reply to a breaking news article and say “@grok is this true?” Babe where do you think it’s about to pull its answer from

Bottom line is AI users are lazy & incurious and that isn't limited to ChatGPT. The selling point of these things isn't accuracy, right? They keep telling us it has hallucinations. So then why do we still use them if they're often wrong? That's right. You are lazy or too dumb to learn a new skill.

I don’t do this as stringently as I used to, but for a very long time I alternated between fiction and nonfiction books

When I was 8, my family went to Disney World and stayed in a motel in Kissimmee. The things I remember about that trip were A-being allowed to stay up late and watch HILL STREET BLUES, B-Seeing an armadillo in the flower bed outside our motel room, and C-the front office lobby had a Dig Dug console

That clip of Timothee Chalamet being like “no one watches the opera or ballet” is wild and I am dying over every ballet and opera acct (correctly) being like “we’ve been here for hundreds of years before you and we’ll be here for hundreds of years after you” lmao
