Apparently I was on a TTRPG starter pack so if you like TTRPGs, that's probably why. Either way, nice to meet you.

Thanks for the explanation, that's such a cool feature.
I don't know what a starter pack is, but it sounds like something I should be thrilled about. I'm part of @silverspiregames.bsky.social and we're actively building a sci-fi TTRPG, mostly on our podcast. It's a side-project for now, but we're enjoying the process.
Okay I just followed back all 60 of you who followed me before I disappeared for 2 months. I was not expecting that.
I disappeared from here for a while because I was feeling overwhelmed being on Threads and BlueSky, only to come back to like 63 followers. Are these all bots or are people here somehow discovering my profile without me actively posting? ๐ค
I love supporting indie authors who self-publish (which will probably be me soon), and I don't plan on stopping, but it really feels like they are always self-edited.
The last 3 books I've read had glaring errors, one even in the very first paragraph (and it would have been flagged by spell check!)
Thanks! I plan on using National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) to really focus on heavy editing, but I'm anticipating self-publishing anyway when the time comes...
I don't think I could deal with a whole bunch of publisher rejection.
Okay, first post. I have no clue how this algo works, I have no clue who's going to see this.
I'm a Canadian dude who just finished writing his first novel and is presently heavy into editing it. I'm also a tabletop game designer/publisher.
Can we be friends?
