My newly acquired 500+ up and running this afternoon. She’s a beaut and compliments my 8Meg fast ram HD8+ perfectly with the plus’s 2 MB chip. Something I could never have afforded back in the early 90’s!. #commodore #amiga #a500

Finally had some time to boot up the Spectrum Next rev2 that arrived about this time last year!. Configured the basics, clock, WiFi etc and ran a few tests. Looking forward to delving in a little deeper over this seasonal holiday. It’s a thing of beauty.
My first computer was this very Dragon 32 which I still have. My dad brought it home one day and I was fascinated. It was pretty basic and only had a few programs on tape but it opened my eyes to home computers. A few years later I bought a ZX Spectrum. I still have that too!.
Going for the best compatibility setup for classic a500 games and demos. Keeping the a1200 for AGA stuff, finally got around to installing @linuxjedi.co.uk ‘s RGBtoHDMI rev board v3.4a in the a500. Flawless. Stripped down, removed the 030 and added the GoFloppy. Now in HDMI on the big screen!

It’s an AA predictor. At the start of the war my grandfather was in the 51st AA brigade RA and used a similar one of these.
