Late to the party with this one, but I really liked it! Tight plot, vivid characters. A two hot chocolate read: partly because it was a quick read and partly because some bits were too tense for a cosy hot chocolate.

I was excited to write a big scene tonight, but bedtime turned into a fifteen minute cry because she ‘don’t have tail’ and something about ‘waggy bot bots’. Clearly a more important crisis than any literary one. I mean…tails would be useful.
